Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, following another rise in the international market.
The latest increase pushed the local gold price higher after a significant gain during the trading day.
Gold Price Per Tola Rises
The price of gold per tola reached Rs469,136 on Friday.
It increased by Rs3,900 during the day, reflecting the upward movement in the local market.
The latest rates were shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Meanwhile, the increase followed another substantial rise recorded in the previous session.
On Thursday, gold per tola was priced at Rs465,236 after gaining Rs11,200 during the day.
Therefore, gold prices have continued to move higher in the local market.
10-Gram Gold Price Also Increases
The price of 10-gram gold also recorded a notable increase on Friday.
According to the latest rates, 10-gram gold reached Rs402,208.
The price increased by Rs3,344 during the day.
The latest movement came as international gold prices also registered gains.
As a result, both major local gold benchmarks moved higher during Fridayโs trading.
Gold Prices Follow International Market Trend
The rise in Pakistanโs gold market came in line with gains in the international market.
Local gold prices often move alongside international market trends.
Therefore, the latest global increase was reflected in domestic gold rates on Friday.
The continued upward movement has also pushed the per-tola price further above Thursdayโs level.
For now, the latest APGJSA rates show another increase in both per-tola and 10-gram gold prices.
