Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday after international gold rates also moved lower.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, gold fell by Rs2,100 per tola.
The price settled at Rs450,936 per tola.
10-Gram Gold Price Also Drops
The price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs1,800.
It settled at Rs386,604.
The latest decline followed a sharp increase on Friday.
Gold had jumped by Rs4,700 per tola on Friday, reaching Rs453,036.
Despite Saturday’s decline, the price remains above the Rs450,000 mark.
International Gold Prices Decline
Gold prices also fell in the international market.
The international price dropped by $21 per ounce.
It settled at $4,263 per ounce.
The decline in global prices contributed to the lower rates in Pakistan.
Silver Prices Also Fall
Silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market.
The price of silver decreased by Rs60 per tola.
It closed at Rs6,903 per tola.
