Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday after falling during the previous trading session.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs6,900.
The new price reached Rs460,336 per tola.
24-Karat Gold Price Rises
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased.
It rose by Rs5,914, reaching Rs394,663.
The latest increase came just one day after gold prices declined by Rs3,800 per tola.
On Thursday, gold had fallen to Rs453,436 per tola.
That decline followed a sharp Rs7,900 increase in the previous session.
Gold Market Remains Volatile
Recent trading has shown significant fluctuations in domestic gold prices.
Gold prices had declined by Rs7,800 over two sessions before Wednesday’s sharp rally.
The latest Rs6,900 increase represents a rise of around 1.5% from Thursday’s price.
On Thursday, 10 grams of 24-karat gold were priced at Rs388,749.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were available at Rs356,364.
The latest movement highlights continued volatility in Pakistan’s bullion market.
