Girls dominated top positions across most groups as the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) announced 2026 results. The board announced Intermediate Part I and II results during a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Education Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui attended the ceremony as chief guest. Meanwhile, FBISE Chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik shared details about the annual examinations and results.
A total of 212,416 candidates appeared in the examinations. Additionally, 1,237 staff members participated in preparing the results.
Girls Secure Top Positions Across Groups
The overall pass percentage reached 85.95 percent. Female candidates also recorded a higher passing percentage than male candidates.
In pre-medical, Ammara Azhar secured first position with 1,079 marks. Muhammad Jahanzeb ranked second with 1,078 marks, while Syeda Iman Fatima secured third with 1,076 marks.
Rameen Arjumand topped pre-engineering with 1,075 marks. Zainab Sami secured second position with 1,070 marks, followed by Insa Fatima with 1,068 marks.
Humanities and Commerce Results Announced
Emaan Fatima secured first position in humanities with 1,007 marks. Meanwhile, Aqsa Farooq topped commerce with 1,051 marks.
Aiza Afzal secured second position with 1,047 marks. Amina Asif finished third with 1,046 marks.
Abdullah Azhar secured first position in general science with 1,063 marks. However, the board reported seven cheating cases during the examinations.
Candidates can check their results through three different sources available on the Federal Board’s website. The board has advised students to use its official platforms for result information.
