A journalist from Khanpur Mahar has reportedly gone missing in Ghotki, raising concerns about a possible abduction.
The missing journalist has been identified as Azim Siyal. His family said he has been missing since last night.
Vehicle Found Abandoned Near Sidoja
Siyal’s vehicle was later found abandoned near Sidoja, within the jurisdiction of Sukkur district.
Police took the vehicle into custody and launched an investigation into his disappearance.
A large number of police personnel were also deployed in the Sidoja area.
Authorities are making efforts to trace the missing journalist and determine what happened to him.
Journalists Protest on National Highway
Following Siyal’s disappearance, journalists from Ghotki staged a sit-in on the national highway.
The protest caused long queues of vehicles and disrupted traffic between Sindh and Punjab.
The journalists demanded immediate action from the authorities.
They called for Siyal’s safe recovery and urged officials to ensure his prompt return to his family.
