Pakistani superstar Mehwish Hayat is making her much-awaited return to television with the drama serial Rutba.
The actress has finally given fans a first look at her character, Shehnaz. She shared a teaser on Instagram to officially announce her television comeback.

Sharing the first glimpse, Mehwish expressed her excitement about the character and the project.
“And so, Rutba begins… Meet Shehnaz,” she wrote.
“A character who challenged me, surprised me and became incredibly special to me. It feels so good to return to your television screens with a story as meaningful as Rutba,” Mehwish added.
The actress kept details about the storyline under wraps. However, she promised an intense experience for viewers.
“I won’t reveal too much, but this one will keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat,” she wrote.

Mehwish also praised the drama’s cast and creative team.
“It was incredible working with Zahid, Talha and Hiba, reuniting with Haseeb Hasan after so long and bringing Umera Ahmed’s powerful writing to life,” she shared.
She also praised producer Sana Shahnawaz and the wider team behind the project.
“The entire team has poured its heart and soul into this. Coming back with Rutba feels like coming home,” Mehwish concluded.
