Pakistan has highlighted its growing textile capabilities at Texworld New York City 2026 with the inauguration of the Pakistan Pavilion at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The international exhibition provides Pakistani exporters with an opportunity to connect with global buyers and expand their presence in international markets.

Pakistan Pavilion Highlights Diverse Export Potential
The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated by Pakistanโs Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, along with Consul General of Pakistan in New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai and Trade and Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan.
The pavilion was organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Trade and Investment Wing of the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York.
It features a wide range of Pakistani products, including value-added textiles, apparel, leather goods, sports products, and home textile items. Through this platform, Pakistan aims to present its manufacturing expertise and attract new international business opportunities.
Officials Highlight Importance of Textile Exports
During the inauguration, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh emphasized the importance of the textile industry for Pakistanโs economy. He also reaffirmed the governmentโs commitment to increasing exports and strengthening commercial relations with the United States.
Meanwhile, Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai highlighted Pakistanโs reputation as a dependable sourcing destination. He also assured continued support in creating stronger business connections between Pakistani companies and American buyers.
Trade and Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan stated that Texworld New York City offers an important opportunity for Pakistani exporters. According to him, the exhibition helps companies build relationships with international buyers and increase their footprint in the US market.
Pakistani Companies Present Innovative Products
Five Pakistani companies are participating under the Pakistan Pavilion during the exhibition. These companies are showcasing products from various categories, including home textiles, towels, apparel, leather garments, sportswear, gloves, and other textile products.
The participating companies include A1 Infinity, MRI Group, Hometex Corporation, Ruqi Sports, and Niza Sports. They will engage with buyers, industry representatives, and business stakeholders from the United States and other global markets.
Furthermore, the exhibitors aim to promote Pakistanโs manufacturing quality, innovation, and export potential. Their participation provides a valuable opportunity to introduce Pakistani products to a wider international audience.
