The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has postponed several interviews scheduled at its Islamabad centre until July 31, 2026. The decision affects candidates appearing under Interview Programme No. 86/2026.
According to an official public notice issued on July 24, the interviews have been delayed because of administrative reasons. However, the commission clarified that interview schedules at all other centres will continue without any changes.
The announcement provides temporary relief for affected candidates while they await revised interview dates.

Interviews at Other Centres to Continue
While Islamabad interviews have been postponed, the FPSC confirmed that interview schedules at all other centres remain unchanged.
Candidates appearing outside Islamabad should attend their interviews according to the previously announced timetable. No changes have been made for those centres.
This clarification ensures that the commission’s recruitment process continues without disruption in other parts of the country.
Revised Interview Dates to Be Announced
The FPSC stated that candidates affected by the Islamabad postponement will receive updated interview dates through its official communication channels.
Until then, applicants should monitor FPSC announcements regularly and rely only on official notifications for accurate information.
The commission has not announced the new interview schedule yet. However, it confirmed that revised dates will be shared with candidates once finalised.
For now, only Islamabad interviews under Interview Programme No. 86/2026 have been postponed due to administrative reasons, while recruitment activities at other centres will continue as planned.
