ISLAMABAD: The federal government today notified a 15% raise in the salaries of its employees working in 1-19 grades.
According to government’s notification, the 15pc disparity allowance for Grade 1 to 19 employees will be applicable with effect from March 1, 2022 and in April the federal government employees will get this pay-raise.
According to the Finance Ministry, the merger of Adhoc Relief/Allowances into pay will be decided on report of pay and pension commission.
The disparity allowance will be applicable from March 1, while a summary of Time Scale Promotion is also being considered. The Ministry also said the decision about the up-gradation of government employees like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa employees will be taken in April 2022.
It may be noted that on Feb 8, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced 15% pay-raise for Rangers and FC personnel and today the federal government also notified a similar hike in salary of its all employees.
