The federal government has approved fresh appointments, transfers and a tenure extension involving several government officers. The changes include a new additional director general at the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) and administrative adjustments across other departments.
The Establishment Division issued notifications following approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The decisions cover senior personnel changes, a deputation posting and an extension within the Punjab Revenue Authority.
Muhammad Shahid Afzal Appointed Additional DG of PAA
Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Shahid Afzal has been appointed additional director general of the Pakistan Airports Authority. He will assume the position on a secondment basis, replacing Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed.
The appointment forms part of the federal government’s latest administrative decisions. Moreover, the change brings a new officer into a senior position at the authority responsible for Pakistan’s airports.
The Establishment Division issued the notification after the prime minister approved the appointment.
Saima Munawar Gets Two-Year Tenure Extension
In another decision, the government has approved a two-year extension for Saima Munawar, who serves as additional commissioner at the Punjab Revenue Authority.
The extension will take effect from October 17, according to the Establishment Division.
The decision allows Munawar to continue in her current position for an additional two years under the approved arrangement.
Sana Arif Transferred to Cabinet Division
The government has also approved the transfer of Sana Arif, a National Savings Officer working at the Central Directorate of National Savings.
Under the new arrangement, her services have been placed at the disposal of the Cabinet Division on a deputation basis.
The transfer forms another part of the latest personnel changes approved by the federal government.
