Watch Pakistan’s biggest Holi Festival celebrated at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Thousands of students of Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad celebrated the Holi Festival with great enthusiasm.
It appears the largest gathering of students of the QAU for the celebration of the Holi Festival inside the university. Usually, Hindus celebrate this religious festival on March 25 every year.
However, it is not clear yet whether the students celebrated the festival on June 13 or it is the old event celebrated on March 25. Nonetheless, the mega event conveys a strong message of diverse culture and harmony in Pakistan.
However, a video of thousands of students celebrating the event with thrilling music, and songs, was shared through the QAU News account via Twitter.
Dancing students also sprinkled different colors on one another’s faces, shirts, and hair.
Religious Harmony and Tolerance
The participation of thousands of students in the Holi Festival demonstrates religious harmony and tolerance at Quaid-e-Azam University.
It also shows the respect the students have for their university fellows who follow the Hindu faith in Pakistan.
Thus the diverse culture of the university truly reflects the sentiments and meanings of Quaid-e-Azam University which promote tolerance, harmony, and dedication.
