Short video clips show that some students of the university are dancing at night while others are sitting in a circular to enjoy the festivities of the traditional holy event of Hindus.
Girls wearing multiple color dresses are dancing to the tune of songs to celebrate the event.
Notably, some social media users are applauding the social and religious diversity in our society while some others are criticising it.
In June this year, the students of Quaide Azam University in Islamabad celebrated the holy festival. It was the first-ever festival celebrated in the QUA and a large number of students participated in it.

However, it is not clear yet whether the students celebrated the festival on June 13 or it is the old event celebrated on March 25. Nonetheless, the mega event conveys a strong message of diverse culture and harmony in Pakistan.
