ISLAMABAD: Jugno Mohsin, former independent MPA, Journalist, and social activist stunned people by making mimicry of PTI chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Jugno Mohsin, the wife of Najam Sethi, appeared in a famous TV show “Gup Shab” _ a Samaa TV comedy program with famous host Wasay Choudhry and two renowned comedians _ Iftikhar Thakur and Qaisar Piya.
Responding to a question about Imran Khan, Jugo Mohsin said, “Imran used to call Najam Sethi on a daily basis when he (NS) was caretaker chief minister in Punjab before the 2018 elections.”
Making mimicry, she said in Khan’s tone “Yaar ye ker do, wo ker do.” Her style of mimicry was stunning for the viewers and the hosts as well. Watch the video around 12:30 minutes to see this funny moment.
Jugno Mohsin claimed that Imran Khan used to call Najam Sethi almost every day to ask him for favors. She, however, regretted that Imran Khan baselessly blamed Najam Sethi for the rigging in the 2018 elections.
To another question, she said with mimicry “Tabdeeli eyee nahi, aa gaii hey” in perfectly Imran Khan’s tone that amused the audience and thousands of the viewers of the comedy show. Watch this moment of mimicry at 16:40 minutes and keep watching the video from 16-17 minutes.
Known for her candid style of conversation, she pointed out a major drawback of Imran Khan and said that he gets stuck up at some point and does not change his mind.
Jugno said that Imran Khan had a good relationship with her family and used to visit their farmhouse to play cricket when he was a cricketer. She, however, regretted that Khan kept Najam Sethi off-air from his TV talk show for two consecutive years and also blocked funds for her constituency.
She also disclosed that Imran Khan blocked development funds of her constituency when he came to know that the Punjab government was providing funds in her constituency in Okara.
Again doing mimicry, she told the audience that Khan made a phone call to Usman Buzdar and asked “why funds were being given to the constituency of Jugno Mohsin.”
Notably, Jugno Mohsin did not use any filthy or indecent words neither for Imran Khan or any other political leader. She, nonetheless, expressed her disappointment with the prevailing system in which the common people are not the priority of the politicians and parliamentarians.
She, however, said that all the political leaders should make serious efforts to pull the country out of this disappointing scenario along with the assistance of the institutions.
Jugno Mohsin also said that she has decided to quit politics and would not contest elections again. However, she said that she had introduced a youngster in her place in her Okara constituency and was supporting him financially, politically, socially, and morally with the aim of serving the people of the area.
She said that it was her ancestral constituency and her family members had been providing free education to thousands of children. Jugno said that her father initiated this social service and she and her family members were promoting it further in Okara.
