ISLAMABAD: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party of Jahangir Tareen is under fire on social media, and in the general public for induction of the entire lot of PTI defectors (“Lotas”).
ISLAMABAD: The newly-launched Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (Consolidation of Pakistan) of Jahangir Tareen is under immense criticism on social media and from the general public.
Everyone is raising their finger on the “Lotas” _ defectors of PTI who have quickly jumped on the political ship of Jahangir Tareen after a strict backlash of the May 9 riots.
Interestingly, the founders of the IPP _ Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party are those who were betrayed and ditched by PTI chairman Imran Khan when he became Prime Minister.
Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan, and Awn Chaudhry are on top of the list whom Khan dumped and ditched shortly after becoming Prime Minister. It is believed that these three leaders have drained billions of rupees on Imran Khan and PTI during their time in opposition.
However, soon after forming the government, Imran Khan ditched them one by one _ and this was the beginning of his downfall. Separating Tareen from Imran Khan was a well-calculated strategy of the ”master intriguers” to weaken Khan and it worked well.
Meanwhile, it is still talk of the town that Tareen has been disqualified as a balancing strategy after the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif.
Surprisingly, social media users are not kicking and punching these leaders on social media. However, “Lotas” _ being dubbed as the ‘deputationists’ are on the hit list of social media users, the general public, and PTI supporters and they are cursing them.
Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Ismail, Aamir Mehmood Kiani, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, and many others joined hands with Tareen soon after the May 9 riots.
Also, PTI leader Pervez Khattak is in contact with Tareen to join the IPP as Secretary General of the party.
Hence, most people are not happy with the induction of ‘deputationists’ in the IPP and now they are guessing whether or not the PTI’s defectors will be able to retain their seats in the upcoming general elections if held this year.
Tareen+Aleem Khan launch their own party _ IPP
PTI’s estranged leader Jahangir Khan Tareen launched his “Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party” along with Aleem Khan and many defectors of Pakistan-Tehrik-e-Insaf.
Tareen was once famous as one of the three ATMs of Imran Khan when PTI was in the opposition.
Importantly, several PTI defectors such as former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Fawad Chaudhry, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Aamir Mehmood Kiani, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, and others have joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.
Tareen said that he joined politics for a reason and joined PTI to achieve the desired goals they had dreamt for Pakistan.
Tareen said that the incidents on May 9 changed the political canvas of Pakistan. Therefore, he demanded action against the plotters of the May 9 riots.
He expressed hope that IPP will perform well in the upcoming elections and will serve the people according to their expectations.
Addressing the launching ceremony of the IPP, Aleem Khan said that they formed a new political party after consultation and Jahangir Tareen gathered everyone.
Aleem Khan, also an estranged PTI leader, said that all the leaders have gathered due to the political acumen of Tareen.
