Tim Hortons craze in cash-strapped Pakistan draws severe flak on internet

Tim Hortons, a popular Canadian coffee shop brand, has opened its first outlet in Lahore, Pakistan.

On the day of the much-anticipated Launch of the coffee giant, which drew mixed reviews from internet users, long lineups were spotted.

Despite the fact that many others were pleased with the introduction of the Canadian coffee brand, some people were dissatisfied with the high cost of the things displayed.

Others claim that there are now long lines of individuals willing to pay exorbitant prices for a cup of coffee in a country struggling to survive.

Tim Hortons’ expansion into South Asia, which has lately seen the opening of outlets in the Philippines and India, includes the opening of a shop in Lahore.

Tim Hortons is seeking to compete in Pakistan with well-established regional coffee chains and worldwide brands.

Brands such as Starbucks, therefore the brand’s success in Lahore is positive.

Long queues of individuals ready to pay outrageous amounts for a cup of coffee are now present in a country that is battling to survive.
