Mehwish Hayat is set to make her return to television after a seven-year hiatus

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actor Mehwish Hayat is set to make her highly anticipated return to television after a seven-year hiatus.

The upcoming drama, starring Mehwish Hayat alongside Ahsan Khan and Hira Mani in lead roles, promises an engaging mix of love, secrets, and suspense. Produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, the project has already created buzz among fans.

In a post on Instagram, the production house teased the drama, captioning: “A Story of Love, Secrets, and Suspense! The iconic Mehwish Hayat makes her grand return to dramas with none other than the dashing Ahsan Khan and Hira Mani, in 7th Sky Entertainment’s mega project! Coming soon only on Geo Entertainment!”

The serial is directed by Siraj ul Haq and written by Fatima Faizan and Amber Azhar. The trailer offers a glimpse of Hayat in a dramatic scene, wiping blood off her face and breaking into hysterical laughter, hinting at an intense and gripping storyline.

This marks Hayat’s first television appearance since her role in ARY Digital’s Dil Lagi alongside Humayun Saeed. Her last major performance was her Hollywood debut in the Marvel series Ms. Marvel.
