Shazia Manzoor

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani renowned singer Shazia Manzoor received the Queen Elizabeth honor. The singer, known for her hit “Chan Mere Makhna,” is presently touring Canada and captivating audiences with her performance.

Canadian parliamentarian Shafqat Ali shared pictures with the Pakistani star on Instagram. Ali disclosed that she had been presented with the Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pin.

Ali expressed his delight at hosting Shazia Manzoor, a distinguished and well-known Pakistani singer. He recognized her for her contributions to art and culture and uniting South Asian communities through her music.

He said, “It was such an honor to host Shazia Manzoor, a recognized and renowned Pakistani singer.”

“It was such a blessing to meet the acclaimed Pride of Performance of Pakistan and to award her with Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pin. Thank you for visiting, and we hope to see you again soon,” he added.

Manzoor later shared the post on her official account, accompanied by a heart emoji.

However, the Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pin is not the sole honor bestowed upon the singer of “Batiyaan Bujhai Rakhdi.”

Earlier this year, it was announced that Shazia Manzoor would also receive the Pride of Performance award from the state of Pakistan next year.

The award ceremony is scheduled for March 23rd next year.

The President of Pakistan revealed a prestigious list of 694 individuals, both from within the country and abroad. They will receive civil awards for their exceptional contributions across a wide range of fields.
