Mehrunisa Siddiqui allegedly filed a police case against Alia following a conflict between the actor’s mother and wife.
A complaint has been filed under sections 452, 323, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
Zainab is Nawazuddin’s second wife.
Nawazuddin married Aaliya, also known as Anjana Kishor Pandey or Zainab, almost 10 years ago.
They have two children, Shora Siddiqui, and Yaani Siddiqui.
In 2020, Aaliyah served Nawazuddin with a divorce petition.
She also explained why she had decided to terminate things.
Aaliyah stated that she had been a victim of domestic violence.
Despite the fact that Nawazuddin never reached out to her, she said that his brother Shamas Siddiqui attacked her.
However, in 2021, Aaliya reconsidered her intention to divorce Nawazuddin.
She said:
“Earlier, he was never able to pay attention to his children. But now, I am really surprised to see him like this. Both me and Nawaz will try together to remove all the problems between us. Going forward, we will sort out all the problems and misconceptions. We have been talking about this.”
Nawazuddin told the Bombay Times after Aaliya initially revealed her desire to repair her marriage.
He said:
“I prefer not to talk about my personal life, and I have never spoken ill of anyone. I don’t let negativity and hatred get to me. She is still the mother of my children, and we have shared a decade of our life together. I will always support her no matter what.”
