Judi James, a body language expert, commented on Prince Harry’s latest video call, saying, “it’s difficult to watch the Duke here.”
“It’s hard to watch Harry here and not regret the fact that he’s no longer a member of the royal Firm,” she told express.co.uk. He engages and empathises with the people he is speaking with, while also exposing his own emotions in a very natural way.
“He is especially good with children, with whom he mirrors and mimics to form very natural bonds, and with whom he speaks directly and easily, rather than talking over them at their parents.”
Judi expresses her thoughts on Harry’s expression during the video call: “He gives himself a partial hug at one point, rubbing his shoulder with one thumb in a self-comfort ritual before sucking his lips in and rubbing his nose. When the Queen is mentioned, he also has a sad expression, twists his mouth, and pulls up his lower lip.”
“Vocally, he still sounds like Harry, though he pronounces some words with a US accent,” the expert said.
“His ‘excited’ is now ‘excited,’ his ‘harder’ sounds like ‘harder,’ and finally ‘better’ sounds like ‘bedder,” Judi observed.
