Bollywood actress and politician Kangana Ranaut recently opened up about how negative publicity has affected her personal life, particularly her ability to get married.
During a recent appearance on an Indian talk show, Kangana discussed her views on marriage and the challenges she faces due to her public image. When asked whether she would prefer to marry a politician or an actor, the 38-year-old actress responded, “What can I say? I have positive thoughts about marriage and believe everyone needs a companion.”
Kangana expressed her strong desire for children and a family but voiced her frustration that her reputation has made it difficult for her to find a partner. “Whenever there’s talk of a relationship, the police show up at my house and take me away,” she said.
She shared an incident where a potential match’s family abruptly left after receiving a court summons during their visit. However, Kangana later clarified that her comments were made in jest, calling it a “side effect” of her situation.
It’s worth noting that Kangana Ranaut successfully contested the Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket, defeating a Congress candidate with 537,200 votes in her electoral debut.
