Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez eloped in July in Las Vegas, but that didn’t stop the happy couple from getting married again.
The newlyweds held another wedding party on August 20 at Affleck’s house in Riceboro, Georgia, which was attended by relatives and friends.
Lopez recently published a tonne of photos in her On the JLo newsletter, despite only having shared a handful of shots from the big day on social media.
Lopez wrote that her day “really was heaven.”
The previous night, Ben and I made jokes about getting remarried at our age. Although neither of us is quite kids anymore and we had both previously been married, nevertheless this age appeared to be the only one that made sense, she wrote.
“When he saw me appear at the top of the stairs that moment it both made absolute sense while seeming still impossibly hard to believe, like the best dream, where all you want is never to awaken,” she wrote. “I would have had many of the same thoughts probably had I not been focusing so hard on not tripping over my dress, but when I got close enough to see his face, it made the same wonderful sense to me.”
