They requested Green Entertainment to upload a new episode, as they can’t wait. It seems that due to financial constraints, the drama is not available on YouTube. However, the Indian fans can watch it on Zee5.
‘Kabli Pulao’ narrates the tale of an elderly man named Haji Mushtaq from Lahore, who marries a young Afghan widow named Barbeena to assist her. However, his life becomes complicated when Shamim, a childhood friend of Barbeena who has feelings for him, reveals her hidden marriage.
Following the seventh episode, the drama entered an intense phase. The Indian fans eagerly anticipated the release of the eighth episode on YouTube in India. However, their disappointment grew as the episode was not released.
A fan expressed on Instagram: “Indian fans are eager to watch it.”
Another individual implored Green Entertainment to upload a new episode on their YouTube channel.
Reason behind the unavailability
It has been revealed that the show’s unavailability on YouTube is not a result of political factors; rather, it is attributed to financial factors.
Nadia Afgan, the actress playing Shamim’s character in the show, revealed the actual reason for the situation. She informed Indian fans that they can now watch their beloved drama on Zee5, as the platform has acquired the broadcasting rights for ‘Kabli Pulao’ in India. As a result, the show is no longer accessible on YouTube in India.
Lead roles in ‘Kabli Pulao’ are played by Sabeena Faruq and Muhammad Ehteshamuddin. Nadia Afghan and Abdullah Farhatullah have also left a lasting impression with their performances.
The drama’s script was written by Zafar Mairaj, and Kashif Nisar directed it.
A significant highlight has been Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s captivating performance of the title song, which has garnered an impressive 100 million views.
