A royal expert claims that 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II’s last year was ruined by convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, whose ties with the late Queen’s son Prince Andrew caused chaos within the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II passed away last month.
In a recent interview with Daphne Barak for an upcoming documentary, Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison for trafficking underage females, referred to Prince Andrew as a “close friend.”
In response to Maxwell’s prison remarks, Christina Oxenberg, a royal cousin, told The Sun that Maxwell was responsible for some of the Queen’s most significant trials near the conclusion of her successful career.
“Maxwell really destroyed the last year of the Queen’s life,” Oxenberg said. “She made Her Majesty worry about Andrew and the pranks, and that’s all on Maxwell, she caused all of that pain.”
She continued by stating that Maxwell’s “one goal” behind her most recent remarks is to “rescue herself.”
According to Oxenberg, Prince Andrew did have sex with Virginia Giuffre, a minor with whom he resolved a sex abuse lawsuit, but he was unaware of Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking. She believes that Prince Andrew was duped into meeting Maxwell and her pedophile partner.
