Hamza Ali Abbasi and Sajal Ali rumoured to Be reuniting for new drama ‘Faraar’

Pakistani television enthusiasts have cause for celebration as two luminaries of the industry, Sajal Ali and Hamza Ali Abbasi, are potentially joining forces once more for an upcoming project. According to a report from Pakistani Cinema, the forthcoming drama serial, titled “Faraar,” will feature the duo in leading roles following their previous on-screen success in the highly acclaimed drama “Alif” in 2019.

Sajal and Hamza’s poignant performances in “Alif” garnered widespread admiration, solidifying their status as a beloved on-screen couple. “Faraar” will be under the direction of the talented Syed Wajahat Hussain, known for his recent work on the successful drama serial “Khaie.”

Already in production, “Faraar” will be scripted by Mustafa Afridi, acclaimed for his work on dramas like “Sang e Mar Mar” and “Sang e Mah.” The drama is being produced by Next Level Entertainment, known for its track record of delivering high-quality content. With such an impressive team at the helm, “Faraar” is poised to be a major success.

Fans of Sajal and Hamza eagerly anticipate this new project, eager to witness the chemistry and exceptional acting they are known for once again. The excitement for “Faraar” is tangible, and it is expected to dominate discussions in the coming months.

In related news, Hamza recently received acclaim for his role in the popular drama series “Jaan e Jahan.” Meanwhile, Sajal continues to captivate audiences with her powerful performance in the currently airing series “Zard Patton Ka Bunn,” alongside Hamza Sohail.

“Alif” was penned by renowned Pakistani playwright Umera Ahmed, known for her previous hits like “Zindagi Gulzar Hai.” The 2019 drama series marked Ahmed’s return to television after a four-year hiatus, during which she wrote the screenplay for “Baaghi,” starring Saba Qamar, based on the life of the late Qandeel Baloch.

Additionally, Ahmed contributed her talents to the Indian film “5 Rupya,” featuring Shabana Azmi and directed by Piyush Panjuani. The film was screened at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) 2017, where Ahmed attended alongside its cast and crew.
