On the 25th anniversary of Diana, Princess of Wales’ passing, admirers of the royal family paid tribute to her by laying flowers and photos around London and Paris.

Lady Diana’s unofficial memorial, the Paris Flame of Liberty, was decked with flowers and images of her.

Outside of London’s Kensington Palace, the former palace of “the people’s princess,” tributes were also left.

Jane Crook, who was paying tribute to the princess, remarked, “Instead of being 25 years it’s like yesterday.”

“It instantly takes you back to those times.”

“Someone like her is really what we’re missing nowadays. There is no one like her anywhere in the world, said German visitor Ulrike Plank, 64, of Munich.
