Divorce Rumors: Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza’s public appearance in Dubai

ISLAMABAD: Shoaib Malik, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, and his wife, former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, made a public appearance together amidst persistent divorce rumors.

Using a popular social media platform, Shoaib Malik, who was once the national team’s captain, took to the platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to wish his son a happy birthday.

He also shared a handful of photographs to mark the occasion.

In his heartfelt post, Shoaib Malik extended birthday wishes to his son, Izhan, and wrote, “Happy birthday, my son. Daddy loves you,” accompanied by a heart emoji.

Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza make public appearance amid divorce rumors.

Observant users immediately noticed the presence of his wife and former Indian tennis sensation, Sania Mirza, in the background of the photos shared by Shoaib Malik. This occurrence stirred a range of reactions.

Some fans of the couple expressed delight at seeing Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza together, while others appeared skeptical, noting the absence of a complete family photo.

It’s worth noting that rumors about the separation of Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza have been circulating since the previous year.

However, this isn’t the first time the couple has been spotted together. Earlier in the year, following Sania Mirza’s retirement and her final match in the Australian Open, they were seen together.

Currently, they are residing in Dubai, which has played a role in quelling the divorce rumors.

The couple’s absence from personal social media posts featuring both of them seems to be fueling speculations about their divorce.

Since they haven’t officially confirmed or denied the divorce, reports about their marital status have experienced fluctuations, sometimes fading away and other times resurging.
