Bollywood actress Tunisha Sharma commits suicide at TV show set

Tunisha Sharma, a television actor, committed suicide on the set of a serial in Vasai, Palghar district, on Saturday.

The Bollywood actress went to the Bathroom and did not return.

The police broke the door open and found her hanging.

According to Valiv police station senior inspector Kailash Barve, those on the set transported the actor to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Both the murder and suicide theories will be investigated, According to Valiv police.

Tunisha had shared an Instagram story video from the set of her television show earlier in the day.

The 20-year-old actor made her debut in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap and has since appeared in Internet Wala Love, Ishq Subhan Allah, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Gabbar Poonchwala, Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and Gabbar Poonchwala.

She has appeared in films such as Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho, Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh, and Dabangg 3. 

Fitoor and Baar Baar Dekho both portrayed her as the younger Katrina Kaif.

Actor’s ex arrested, co-star called in for questioning

According to police in Waliv, Mumbai, Tunisha Sharma’s co-star was detained after a suicide attempt was reported against her.

Sheezan Khan has been named as the defendant, and an IPC Section 306 case has been brought against him.

Sharma’s other co-star, Parth Zutshi, was called in by the police on Sunday to answer questions regarding the incident.
