Armeena Khan speaks out against “fake positivity” and the Misuse of Social Media.

Armeena Rana-Khan, better known by her stage name ‘Armeena Khan’ is a Canadian/Pakistani actress. she began a brief career in modeling and featured in print and television campaigns for various clothing and consumer brands including Nishat Linen and Faysal Bank. She went on to study Acting in London at Ealing and Pinewood studios before focusing on her acting career full time.

The actress posted on her Instagram on Thursday about social media and the ratio of toxic positivity to negativity. Be cautious around those who only post about color, rainbows, stars, and unicorns, but also be mindful of those who only share negativity.

According to her, being human means struggle, which means that you will have both good and bad days, and that’s alright. You’re free to think, feel, and come up with solutions. Don’t let toxic optimism drag you down either – Yes, it exists. She added hashtags to her post on finding balance and how it’s acceptable to occasionally not feel okay.
