The “I Want Candy” singer and the native of Bulgaria started dating in January 2020, but they broke up two months later after Martin was charged with felony domestic assault against Carter. After posting $50,000 bail, she was freed.
The couple reconnected in April 2020 and announced they were expecting a child, but the rapper later disclosed that his partner had lost the pregnancy. The Florida native at the time stated in a YouTube video that “We’re going to give it some time, let her heal, and then we’re going to try again.” Both of us desire that. I have to look after her.

Martin said in a statement to Us Weekly on Monday, November 7th. that she was looking forward to having more kids with him as they considered their potential future together.
The model, 30, said, “I was really looking forward to getting married and having more kids with him. We used to be very close, and I was eager to see my family for the holidays once more.
I am beyond heartbroken waiting to see my wonderful soulmate again, she continued. We never gave up on our love, and I believe we both need each other to survive.
On November 5, 2022, the I Want Candy composer passed away in his California home at the age of 34. Martin spoke to People Magazine after learning of his passing to share her sorrow.
Over my fiance Aaron’s passing, my heart is utterly torn. Martin said, “I tried everything to help him because I knew he was struggling. He has a very independent and strong personality, so I was unable to assist him in the manner in which I believed he required it.
She went on, “I just wish I had more people to assist me in dealing with him. This is the worst day of my life because I will now be raising our son alone, but I must be strong for him.”
