SadaPay says its SadaBiz freelancers can receive international payments through Apple Pay

SadaPay

ISLAMABAD: SadaPay, a Pakistani fintech company, has revealed that their SadaBiz freelancers can now accept payments through Apple Pay.

Earlier this year, SadaPay introduced the SadaBiz business account, designed specifically for freelancers. Its aim is to provide a transparent platform for global payments without hidden fees.

The company announced this at SadaPay’s inaugural SadaSummit, which took place at COLABS. The event brought together industry experts, thought leaders in the freelancing sector, and early adopters of SadaBiz.

In addition to the Apple Pay integration, the event included panel discussions on Pakistan’s future as a global freelancing hub.

Despite Pakistan’s growing tech talent, freelancers in the country face various challenges, such as a lack of awareness about opportunities, limited training facilities, and difficulty accessing international markets and receiving payments from overseas clients.

The inclusion of Apple Pay significantly streamlines the process for freelancers to connect with international clients.

The press release highlighted the remarkable growth of Apple Pay, with a user base of 550 million, surpassing PayPal’s 450 million users.

Furthermore, Apple Pay’s payment volume is four times greater than PayPal’s and continues to grow rapidly. The platform has a vast global reach, with over 2 billion iPhones worldwide equipped with Apple Pay.

The press release also mentioned SadaBiz’s plans to accept payments via Google Pay, which is experiencing similar user adoption globally.

SadaPay has successfully connected Pakistani freelancers with over 700 million devices worldwide that have access to Apple Pay and Google Pay.

During the event, SadaPay introduced the “SadaSchool” platform, which aims to provide freelancers with masterclasses and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

It also facilitates peer support and mentorship through a Discord community, which has already built a network of professionals hosting regular workshops on topics such as graphic design, copywriting, programming, and other high-income skills.

Brandon Timinsky, the Chief Executive of SadaPay, emphasized that this initiative serves the talented youth of Pakistan, and with SadaSchool, the goal is to empower Pakistan’s digital generation to excel in the global gig economy.
