The Pakistani rupee continued to rise against the US dollar on Thursday, while the Pakistan Stock Exchange also experienced a favorable trend.
On Thursday, the Pakistani rupee increased by Rs2.32 to trade at Rs221.62. According to forex brokers, the dollar is currently trading between Rs222 and Rs224 in the open market.
The Pakistani rupee gained Rs1.70 on Wednesday and was trading at Rs223.94 in the interbank market, continuing its upward trend against the US dollar.
While the PKR is traded on the open market for between Rs225 and Rs227.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) also increased by 241 points on Thursday, closing at 41,852 points.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) KSE-100 index rose 205 points on Wednesday to close at 41,555 points.
