Following a negligible rise on the previous working day, the Pakistani rupee depreciates the US dollar by Rs0.03 in early-morning trade on Monday.
The value of the dollar has increased in the interbank market from Friday’s closing value of Rs220.84 to Rs220.87.
The dollar’s value rose by 0.05% to end the trading week at Rs220.84 from its earlier Thursday value of Rs220.95.
Since the US dollar began to strengthen, the rupee has been losing value for seven days in a row, totaling about Rs2.52.
However, the rupee’s value only increased by a negligible Rs0.09 on Friday.
