ISLAMABAD: The federal board of revenue has collected 300 billion rupees over and above its target set for first five months of the ongoing fiscal year. During July-Nov FY2021-22, FBR has collected Rs2,320 billion against the target of Rs2,016 billion. Thus, during this period the FBR has collected Rs304 billion above its five-month target.
In the month of Nov 2021, the FBR’s revenue collection amounted to Rs476 billion while the monthly target of tax collection was 408 billion. Hence, in Nov-2021, the FBR again exceeded target by collection Rs68 billion extra revenue.
According to the latest FBR data, the net collection for the month of November 2021 was Rs470 billion, which has been increased to Rs476 billion, reflecting an increase of Rs6 billion.
While chasing the target of Rs408 billion fixed for the month, the net collection for the month of November 2021 now stood at Rs476 billion.
In comparison with Nov-2020, the FBR’s tax collection stood at Rs476 billion during November 2021, showing a robust 36 percent growth.
