IESCO starts implementation of winter package, says CEO Naeem Jan

ISLAMABAD: The Chief Executive of IESCO, Muhammad Naeem Jan, announced the rollout of a winter facilitation package as directed by Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif. The initiative aims to provide substantial relief to electricity consumers in their December 2024 bills.

Package Details

  • Residential consumers will benefit from reductions of Rs11.42 to Rs26 per unit on additional electricity usage.
  • Commercial and business consumers will enjoy reliefs ranging from Rs13.46 to Rs22.71 per unit.
  • Industrial consumers are set to save between Rs5.72 and Rs15.05 per unit.

Encouragement to Consumers

Muhammad Naeem Jan urged all IESCO customers, especially industrial users, to take advantage of this opportunity to lower electricity costs, boost production, and contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth.

These measures are part of broader efforts to provide financial relief and support sustainable energy consumption during the winter months.
