Direct Flight
ISLAMABAD: Azerbaijan’s national airline launched direct flight services to Pakistan on Saturday.
The AZAL, the national airline of Azerbaijan, has unveiled plans to initiate direct flights to Pakistan.
The inaugural flight departing from Azerbaijan is set to arrive at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport tonight at 11:40 PM.
The inaugural flight will carry a total of 15 passengers traveling from Baku to Lahore.
Meanwhile, 80 passengers will depart from Lahore to Baku.
In the initial phase of this service, there will be two weekly flights connecting Lahore and Baku.
The Interim Minister of Aviation and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador will be present to welcome the inaugural flight, which is scheduled to land tonight.
Additionally, upon arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, the flight will be greeted with a water salute.
To enhance passenger convenience, the airline has also introduced a mobile application for booking tickets.
