Single-Entry Visas Available for 30 or 60 Days
Dubai has announced a faster process for tourists seeking short-term entry visas, allowing eligible visitors to obtain a single-entry tourist visa within 48 working hours after completing the required application steps.
The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai said the move is part of ongoing efforts to simplify entry procedures for international travellers and support the emirate’s fast-growing tourism sector.
According to the authority, applicants can apply for single-entry tourist visas valid for either 30 days or 60 days. The visa is expected to be issued within 48 working hours once all required documents are submitted correctly.
The process is aimed at making travel planning easier for visitors who want to explore Dubai for leisure, family visits, shopping, events or business-related tourism.
Dubai continues to attract millions of tourists every year due to its modern infrastructure, luxury hotels, entertainment options, shopping destinations and global connectivity.
Applicants Can Apply Through Accredited Tour Offices
The GDRFA said applicants can submit their visa requests through accredited tour offices. These offices are authorised to process applications through simplified procedures designed to save time and improve the visitor experience.
In a post shared on its official Instagram account, the authority said the system is meant to provide a smooth and fast application journey.
Applicants are required to submit a personal photograph and a copy of a valid passport. Some nationalities may also need to provide a national identity card from their home country.
Once the documents are complete, the application can be processed quickly. Representatives of accredited tourism offices said approvals often arrive within hours after all requirements are met.
Some visitors reportedly receive their tourist visas in as little as two to three hours, depending on the completeness of documents and application status.
