Rs19 Million Electric Multitruck Reaches Pakistani Customers
Master Motors is set to begin customer deliveries of the Deepal E07 in Pakistan this week.
The development comes several months after the premium electric vehicle was introduced at the Pakistan Auto Show 2025.
Bookings opened following its local launch, with early customers now expected to receive their vehicles.
Deepal is the premium electric vehicle brand of Chinese automaker Changan.
The company describes the E07 as the worldโs first โMultitruckโ because it combines features of an SUV and a pickup.
Its most distinctive feature is its transformable rear section.
The vehicle can operate as a conventional premium SUV for everyday driving.
Its rear section can then transform into an open cargo area, giving it pickup-style carrying capability.
The design is aimed at customers looking for luxury, performance and additional utility in a single electric vehicle.
The Deepal E07 Performance AWD is currently listed at an ex-factory price of Rs19 million in Pakistan.
E07 Offers Nearly 600 Horsepower and 590km Claimed Range
Performance is one of the main selling points of the Deepal E07.
The Performance AWD version uses a dual-motor electric powertrain.
It produces around 590 horsepower and 645 Nm of torque.
The electric vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in approximately 3.9 seconds.
Its claimed top speed is 210 kilometres per hour.
The vehicle is powered by an 89.98 kWh battery.
Deepal claims a driving range of up to 590 kilometres under the NEDC testing standard for the Performance AWD version.
Actual driving range can vary depending on speed, road conditions, weather, air-conditioning use and driving style.
The E07 also supports DC fast charging at up to 240 kW.
Under suitable charging conditions, the battery can reportedly charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in approximately 15 minutes.
This fast-charging capability could make the vehicle more practical for longer journeys where high-speed charging infrastructure is available.
Air Suspension and Premium Technology Target Luxury EV Market
The Deepal E07 also comes with a range of comfort, safety and technology features.
Its suspension system combines air suspension with Continuous Damping Control.
The technology can adjust the vehicleโs ride characteristics according to road conditions and driving requirements.
The E07 also offers a 360-degree camera system and several driver-assistance technologies.
Its cabin is centred around a large 15.4-inch touchscreen.
The front seating system includes reclining functions designed to provide greater comfort during long journeys or stationary rest periods.
The vehicle also includes multiple airbags and driver monitoring technology.
Its long wheelbase and large body place it firmly in the premium electric vehicle segment.
The E07 measures approximately 5,045mm in length, 1,996mm in width and 1,680mm in height.
Its wheelbase measures 3,120mm.
Master Group currently represents Deepal in Pakistan through its automotive operations alongside Changan.
With deliveries now expected to begin, the E07 will move from showroom display and bookings into actual customer ownership.
The launch also expands Pakistanโs rapidly growing premium electric vehicle market.
Competition in the segment has increased as more Chinese and international manufacturers introduce battery-powered vehicles with longer ranges and advanced technology.
The E07 will compete primarily on performance, design and its unusual SUV-to-pickup transformation system.
Its Rs19 million price also positions it as a premium product rather than a mass-market electric vehicle.
Attention will now shift to customer feedback, real-world driving range and charging performance once the first units begin appearing on Pakistani roads.
