The Interior Ministry has appointed Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officer Farhan Ahmad as the new deputy commissioner of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
According to an official notification issued on Thursday, Farhan Ahmad will hold the additional charge of CDA deputy commissioner for a period of three months.
The appointment aims to strengthen administrative operations within the civic authority responsible for managing Islamabad’s development and urban affairs.
Farhan Ahmad Replaces Sardar Asif at CDA
Before receiving the new assignment, Farhan Ahmad was serving in the Islamabad District Administration.
With the latest notification, he will replace Sardar Asif as CDA deputy commissioner. The change marks a new administrative appointment within the authority.
Farhan Ahmad, as a PAS officer, brings administrative experience from his previous role in Islamabad’s district setup.
The Interior Ministry’s decision places him in charge of additional responsibilities at CDA while continuing his official duties under the government framework.
