A Criminal Crime Control Department (CCD) official faces serious allegations after a woman accused him of sexual assault and filming her in Lahore. Police have registered a case against Muhammad Shabbir following the complaint concerning two alleged incidents in Kahna.
The case has drawn attention to allegations involving a woman who approached police over a missing mobile phone. According to the FIR, the incidents allegedly took place at a house in Lahore’s Kahna area.
How the Alleged Assault Began
The complainant, a resident of Kot Lakhpat, visited Kahna Bazaar on October 1. During her visit, her mobile phone allegedly went missing from her purse.
She subsequently went to Kahna Police Station to report the loss, where she met CCD official Muhammad Shabbir. According to her complaint, Shabbir obtained her contact number and called her later, claiming authorities had traced her phone.
The woman alleged that Shabbir asked her to meet him on Ahlu Road. He then allegedly took her to a house belonging to a woman identified as Humaira Bibi.
Woman Alleges Assault and Video Recording
According to the FIR, the complainant accused Shabbir of threatening her with a weapon before sexually assaulting her. She further alleged that he recorded a video showing her in a nude state.
The complaint also describes a second alleged incident on October 10. According to the FIR, Shabbir called her to the same house again.
Fearing that the video could be used against her, the woman allegedly went to the location. She claimed that Shabbir assaulted her again during that visit.
The allegations remain subject to investigation, and the registration of a case does not establish guilt.
Victim Seeks Justice Through Open Court
The woman later appeared at an open court organised by DIG Operations Faisal Kamran. She sought justice and presented her complaint, which was taken up.
Meanwhile, police have registered the case at Kahna Police Station based on her allegations against the CCD official.
The complaint outlines the alleged sequence of events, beginning with the missing phone and subsequent contact. However, further investigation will be necessary to establish the circumstances and determine responsibility.
The case now centres on the woman’s allegations, the registered complaint and the investigation into the reported incidents in Lahore’s Kahna area.
