More than 100,000 students across Pakistan have received their Cambridge International examination results for the June 2026 session. Students from more than 850 schools across the country appeared for Cambridge International AS & A Level, Cambridge O Level and IGCSE examinations this year.
The results mark an important milestone for thousands of Pakistani students preparing for university and future careers. Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry and Computer Science remained among the most popular subjects.
Cambridge Results Released Worldwide
Cambridge International said almost 368,000 students worldwide received their AS & A Level results on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Cambridge IGCSE and O Level results will reach more than 315,000 students globally on August 18.
The examination series included students from a wide range of countries and education systems.
Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education at Cambridge, congratulated students receiving their results.
“Congratulations to all our students receiving results today and next week,” said Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education at Cambridge.
He also highlighted the growing demand for Cambridge AS & A Levels.
“More students are turning to our AS & A Levels because they combine deep subject knowledge with the skills universities and employers value most,” he said.
Smith said the continued growth showed how strongly this combination appealed to students “in a world being reshaped by AI”.
Pakistani Students Celebrate Results
Uzma Yousuf, Cambridge’s Country Director for Pakistan, also congratulated students receiving their results.
“This has not been an ordinary year,” Yousuf said. “Some students prepared for their examinations against a backdrop of regional tensions, uncertainty and disruption, which makes today’s achievement even more meaningful.”
She encouraged students to recognise their efforts and celebrate their achievements.
“I hope every learner takes a moment to celebrate what they’ve accomplished,” she said.
Yousuf also thanked teachers, parents and school communities for supporting students throughout the academic year.
“At Cambridge, we believe education is about more than examination results. It’s about helping young people build the knowledge, confidence and skills to thrive at university, in their careers, and in life,” she said.
Cambridge Qualifications Open Global Opportunities
Cambridge said its International AS & A Level qualifications receive recognition from universities, organisations and government institutions worldwide. The organisation also pointed to recent UCAS application data. According to Cambridge, 98% of Cambridge International A Level students who applied to UK universities during the 2025 cycle received at least one offer.
The results therefore represent more than a final score for many students. They can also shape university applications and future academic opportunities.
“Whether students choose to study at home or abroad, Cambridge International qualifications open doors to opportunity and prepare learners for success in a rapidly changing world,” Smith said.
For Pakistani students, the June 2026 results mark the end of months of preparation and examination pressure. They now face the next stage of their academic journey, whether that means university admission, further study or entering a new career path.
