Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has clarified remarks that social media users linked to Saira Yousuf and Shehroz Sabzwari. She said her podcast story had no connection with the former celebrity couple.
Bushra recently discussed a marriage involving the son of close friends during a podcast. However, several social media pages allegedly connected her comments with Saira and Shehroz.
Bushra Ansari Explains Her Original Comments
In her latest vlog, Bushra expressed surprise over the online interpretation of her remarks. She explained that the people involved were close friends working in the banking sector.
The actress said she never described the couple as actors. Instead, she discussed a marriage that ended because of disagreements over living arrangements.
According to Bushra, the wife wanted a separate home, while the husband refused to leave his parents. She said social media pages later used Saira and Shehroz’s pictures with the story.
Actress Defends Saira Yousuf
Bushra strongly rejected claims that she referred to Saira and Shehroz. She criticized misleading reporting and said online users often remove conversations from their original context.
She also defended Saira, describing her as a respectable person. Bushra said Saira maintains good relations with members of her former in-laws’ family.
The actress also praised Saira’s relationship with her daughter, Zahra. She questioned why she would mention people close to her while discussing an unrelated personal story.
Bushra urged people to avoid spreading claims based on misleading interpretations. She reiterated that her podcast comments did not concern Saira Yousuf or Shehroz Sabzwari.
