Asma Jatak Incident Triggers Concern
Asma Jatak, a Khuzdar resident, reportedly faced abduction allegations in February 2024. Reports said an armed group identified as a โDeath Squadโ abducted her from Police Lines Khuzdar.
The incident triggered protests and rallies across Balochistan. More recently, Asma released a video holding the Holy Quran and appealed for protection.
She reportedly sought protection for herself and her family. Her father was allegedly killed several hours after she released the video.
The inquiry committee will now investigate the circumstances surrounding these developments. Authorities will submit the findings after completing the 15-day investigation.
