Woman Flown Back to Azerbaijan
An Azerbaijani woman identified as Diana, who was allegedly assaulted in Lahore, has been deported from Pakistan to Azerbaijan.
Officials said Diana departed Lahore for Baku on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-159.
The woman was accompanied by three police officers during her journey. The security team included the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Defence.
Authorities said the police officers remained with Diana throughout the travel process. They accompanied her to ensure her safe departure from Pakistan.
Security Arrangements at Lahore Airport
Special security arrangements were also made at Lahore Airport before Diana boarded the flight.
The Airport Security Force (ASF) kept the woman under supervision during her stay at the airport.
Officials said security personnel remained deployed until she completed the boarding process for the flight to Baku.
The authorities did not provide further details about the alleged assault or the circumstances that led to Diana’s deportation.
The latest development follows the case involving the Azerbaijani woman in Lahore, which had attracted attention after images and reports concerning the alleged incident emerged.
Diana Flies Back to Baku
Officials confirmed that Diana successfully boarded PIA flight PK-159 and left Lahore for Baku.
The police escort and airport security arrangements were maintained throughout the departure process.
Authorities have not disclosed additional information about whether further legal proceedings related to the alleged assault are underway or whether any suspects have been formally charged.
The case remains subject to the relevant investigation and official proceedings.
