Allama Iqbal Open University has announced 60 vacancies on regular and contract basis at its Main Campus and regional centers.
The university has invited applications for positions ranging from BPS-02 to BPS-20. The vacancies cover administrative, academic support, technical, driving, and field positions.
AIOU has set October 16, 2026, as the deadline for submitting applications. Candidates must meet the qualification and experience requirements specified for their respective positions.
AIOU Sets Different Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility criteria vary according to the position and grade. Applicants for senior regional posts generally require a second-class master’s degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, along with relevant professional, administrative, or research experience.
Candidates for Regional Director positions need 17 years of relevant experience in Grade 17 or above. Meanwhile, Additional Regional Director applicants require 12 years of relevant experience.
Deputy Regional Director positions require five years of relevant experience in BPS-17 or above. Assistant Regional positions require a relevant master’s degree, while relevant experience may be preferred under the advertised criteria.
Candidates Can Apply Through AIOU Portal
Applicants for BPS-15 Assistant positions need a second-class bachelor’s degree, a typing speed of 30 words per minute, and the required basic IT training.
Driver positions require the prescribed educational qualification, a valid HTV or PSV driving licence, and relevant experience. Interested candidates can apply through the AIOU Jobs Portal by completing the online application and uploading the required documents.
Applicants must also pay the relevant processing fee before submitting the form. Afterward, they must print, sign, and submit the completed application with supporting documents and proof of payment according to the advertisement.
