Two suspects have been arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch in Bhuj, Gujarat, in connection to an incident where gunshots were fired outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra West.
On April 14th, the event took place, and the individuals involved were eventually captured late on Monday night. As per the authorities, these suspects had escaped Mumbai following the incident; however, they were later caught in Bhuj.
Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, the two individuals involved in the case, will be transported to Mumbai for a more in-depth examination of the situation.
At 5 a.m., as per the police, the shooting occurred as part of a well-planned and detailed strategy.
In the CCTV recording outside the house, one of the suspects aimed and shot at Salman Khan’s residence. The two individuals together fired a total of four gunshots before swiftly escaping on a motorcycle.
During the occurrence, the individuals involved masked their identities by donning helmets.
The police promptly acted by stationing ten teams from the crime branch near Galaxy Apartments, which is Salman Khan’s residence.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, reached out personally to the actor to address the recent event and proposed strengthening the actor’s security precautions.
Anmol Bishnoi, the sibling of Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, took to social media to assert accountability for the shooting incident. In his statement, he directed a warning towards Salman Khan, mentioning that this was merely the commencement of further actions.
Authorities believed there might be a link between one of the defendants and American gangster Rohit Godara, who stands accused of murdering businessman Sachin Munjal in Gurugram.
Since November 2022, Salman Khan’s security has been elevated to Y-Plus status as a result of threats posed by Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.
Furthermore, Khan has obtained a bulletproof vehicle and has been permitted to possess a personal firearm for increased security measures.
