The Punjab government has officially reduced the price of roti from Rs20 to Rs16, a move announced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
This significant price adjustment is applicable across the entire province, as confirmed by the Chief Minister in her recent statement on the social media platform X.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz detailed that the directive to lower roti prices has been communicated to all relevant districts and departments within Punjab.

Asim Raza, Chairman of the Pakistan Flour Mills Association, attributed the decrease in flour prices to a significant drop in wheat costs.
He noted that these adjustments were possible due to improved availability and market dynamics affecting wheat supply.
Further price reductions are anticipated, with projections suggesting that the price of a 20kg flour sack could decrease by an additional Rs300.
