ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will resume the hearing of the murder case involving the former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan and senior SC lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar.
The Advocate Abdul Razzaq Shar murder case, in which the PTI chairman is implicated, was registered at the Shaheed Jameel Kakar police station. The charges against Imran Khan include murder, terrorism, and others, based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s son.
A three-member bench, led by Justice Yahya Afridi, will reconvene for the hearing. The PTI chairman has submitted additional documents to the Supreme Court.
During the previous hearing, the Supreme Court bench summoned Imran Khan to appear before it on August 9 (tomorrow).
The bench, headed by Justice Yahya Khan Afridi, declined the PTI lawyer’s request for a stay order against the JIT (Joint Investigation Team) formed in the case.
“We will not issue any order at this time,” remarked Justice Yahya Khan Afridi. The hearing was subsequently adjourned until August 9.
