On Tuesday, the police were granted two-day physical remand of Hassaan Niazi, former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nephew, by an Islamabad district and sessions court in a case related to his misbehavior with officials.
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah announced the verdict, and after that, Niazi approached another sessions court against the decision, which was subsequently scheduled for a hearing.
The court stated that the suspect needed to be investigated “thoroughly and properly” despite the allegations against him. The accused will be produced before the court on March 23 after a pre- and post-medical examination.
The court granted the police two days’ physical remand of the accused based on the circumstances presented.

Earlier,
Authorities re-arrested Hassaan Khan Niazi (the nephew of PTI Chairman Imran Khan) in a separate case.
The authorities took him into custody as he was leaving the Federal Judicial Complex (FJC), even though he had obtained pre-arrest bail in three cases.
Mr. Niazi had received bail from the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) for cases related to violence that occurred on February 28 and March 18 when Imran Khan visited the FJC.
The judge granted pre-arrest interim bail to him for the FIR registered with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on March 18.
when a trial court had to indict Mr. Khan in the Toshakhana case.
