After a 17-year hiatus, the England Cricket Board (ECB) thanked Pakistan on Monday for hosting their team.
Pakistan lost the final T20I against England by a score of 67 runs, ending the seven-match series.
The board posted the following on Twitter: “Thank you, Pakistan. After 17 years of waiting, a wonderful cricket series and the warmest welcome from the people of this country.”
In the photos, supporters of the English side could be seen waving posters and showing their support.
The cricketers also thanked Pakistan for hosting them and its security forces for creating a secure environment.
Twitter user Dawid Malan wrote: “Brilliant end to a well-fought series! A huge thanks to Pakistan for having us and an even bigger thanks to the security forces that looked after us so well. was a great experience.”
