District Health Officer (DHO) Zaeem Zia told ARY News that there were 113 more cases of dengue in the federal capital in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases this season to 1056.
Dr. Zaeem Zia, the DHO of Islamabad, said that 58 of the 113 cases were reported from rural areas of the capital, while the other 55 were reported from urban areas.
The total number of cases of dengue has gone up to 1056, and four people have died from the virus.
Yesterday, 72 new cases of dengue were found in the federal capital, bringing the total number of cases to 943.
Dr. Zaeem said that in the last 24 hours, 11 patients were admitted to the PIMS hospital in Islamabad, 3 were admitted to the Federal General Hospital, 14 were admitted to the Holy Family Hospital, 5 were admitted to the BBH Rawalpindi, 5 were admitted to the DHQ Rawalpindi, 3 were admitted to the CDA Hospital, and 12 dengue patients were reported from the Poly Clinic in Islamabad.
